Interpreting sounds
Our Ears have many parts that all help us hear.

The Semicircular canals help you to balance?
From the beginning
- The Pinna- It is the outer ear, this collects all the sound vibrations
- Ear canal- The oscillations are funneled down her and are sent to the...
- Ear drum- Starts tovibrate from the sound vibrations
- Hammer, Anvil & Stirrup- These bpnes make up the Ossicles, they collect the vibrations from the ear drum to send them to the cochlea
- Cochlea- The vibrations are translated into electric signals
- Brain- Finally the electric signals are passed through the Auditory nerve to the brain

BEWAREFrequencies-
The number of wavelengths per second. The more frequencies and the higher the frequency mean the higher the pitch. As you grow the cilia in cochlea die out, the high frequencies and loud noise damages them. So take care when listening to loud music and the same noise- especially if it high pitched. |
